Vegan chili with minced seitan

Ingredients (for 4 people)

  • 400 g of minced seitan @naturaebontà
  • 400 g of tomato puree / pulp
  • 350 g boiled black beans (cooked weight)
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 yellow pepper
  • 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
  • b cumin, coriander, chili pepper
  • b salt and pepper
  • vegetable broth to taste
  • Lime slices for garnish

        Procedure

        • Finely chop the onion and peppers.
        • Pour the oil into a pan, add the onion and the other vegetables and cook for a few minutes.
        • Also add the spices and the minced Natura&Bontà seitan, the tomato pulp and leave to cook for about 25 minutes, adding vegetable broth if necessary.
        • After a few minutes add the beans and let them cook for about ten minutes.
        • Plate and serve with lime slices.
        • I recommend accompanying the chili with tortillas or basmati rice.
